Contribute to urban planning and policy development as a Planner II at the City of Windsor. This regular full-time role centers on conducting research and crafting policies for community enhancement.

In this position, you'll leverage your planning expertise to analyze growth issues and recommend effective land use policies that promote sustainable development. Working closely with various stakeholders, you will prepare documentation for public hearings and assist in community outreach initiatives to foster collaboration and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Research community growth and land use development issues
• Facilitate community engagement and public consultations
• Draft amendments and reports for planning studies




• Conduct statistical and demographic analysis
• Provide recommendations on government policy initiatives

Requirements:
• University Degree in Planning or related discipline
• Minimum four years of relevant planning experience
• MCIP membership or eligibility within three years
• Robust organizational and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of the Ontario Planning Act and related legislation
