Become a vital part of the Powell River Educational Services Society as a Community Inclusion Worker. Assist a non-verbal individual in their home and community to foster independence and engagement.

This role embodies compassion and reliability, focusing on the promotion of safety, inclusion, and meaningful participation. You'll rely on your skills and understanding of autism to provide tailored support. Solid communication abilities will be needed to liaise with family members and support teams to enhance the individual’s daily life.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer one-on-one support in both home and community settings
• Facilitate engagement in community activities that interest the individual
• Provide support for daily routines and necessary life skills




• Respectfully address sensory and emotional challenges
• Maintain safety and dignity at all times

Requirements:
• Experience with autistic and non-verbal individuals is a plus
• Insight into autism and sensory needs for effective support
• Willingness to secure First Aid/CPR certification
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license
• Dependable and flexible approach toward support
