As an Addictions Counsellor at ADAPT, you'll provide essential group and individual counselling services. You will assess and implement treatment strategies that guide clients through their recovery journey while fostering connections with community resources and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct addiction assessments and implement interventions
• Design and execute personalized wellness strategies
• Administer group counselling and family support
• Maintain accurate health records and documents
• Facilitate client transitions to next-stage services
Requirements:
• University degree or diploma in Social Work or related field
• Relevant experience of at least 5 years
• Mandatory CPR and First Aid certification
• Necessary ASIST and CPI training
• Professional registration with Ontario College preferred
