Job Details Communicates with internal teams, prescriber offices, payers, patients, and approved external contacts to obtain required information, clarify documentation, and resolve routine to moderately complex issues.
Executes specialty pharmacy activities such as documentation review, perks-related support, medication access support, and case follow-up in accordance with established procedures.
Prioritizes and resequences assigned work to meet daily service-level, quality, and turnaround expectations.
Reviews referrals, forms, case details, and supporting documentation to validate completeness, reconcile discrepancies, and support accurate processing.
Escalates atypical, urgent, or threshold-breach cases with clear documentation, relevant context, and recommended next steps.
Applies job aids, checklists, privacy requirements, and quality standards to support accurate outputs, reliable handoffs, and audit readiness.
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, professional pharmacy degree, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
2+ years of experience in pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, healthcare operations, or a related field required.
Certification in active pharmacist licensure, specialty-related certification, clinical board certification, or equivalent preferred.
