In this role, the Cultural Housing Support Worker will support clients transitioning into reliable housing by addressing their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Comprehensive knowledge of systems like Child Protective Services and housing programs is essential. The ideal candidate will adopt an Indigenous and trauma-informed lens to support client needs holistically.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure culturally supportive service delivery for clients
• Monitor progress on individualized housing plans
• Connect clients with community resources and support
• Maintain client records according to agency standards
• Participate in morning meetings and community partnerships
Requirements:
• Qualification in community social services or related fields
• Experience with housing and homelessness solutions
• Strong understanding of Indigenous community challenges
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with insurance
