The Project Communications Specialist role at Calian involves developing and executing robust communication plans for DND/CAF organizations. You will establish connections with local DND/CAF personnel and ensure comprehensive coordination for site access and equipment visits. Your responsibilities include overseeing communication materials and addressing barriers to improve overall processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement strategic communication plans
• Build relationships with local DND/CAF Office of Primary Interest
• Coordinate access and visit schedules for effective operations
• Support teams in serial marking and tagging of equipment
• Develop materials that clearly convey project messages
Requirements:
• Minimum 36 months of experience in communications
• Completed University degree or College diploma
• Experience working with Canadian Armed Forces
• Familiarity with internal communications in DND
• Ability to obtain Secret level Government Security Clearance
