Obsidian Energy is hiring a Field Health & Safety Advisor to enhance operational safety for production and construction phases. This role involves frequent travel to various field sites, aiming to encourage safe behaviors and effective hazard assessments. The candidate must have a robust background in health and safety within the oil and gas sector and should demonstrate solid leadership in risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct coaching and support at various work locations
• Assist in health and safety project planning and execution




• Lead investigations and facilitate corrective action follow-ups
• Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Management System
• Coordinate and participate in health and safety inspections

Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in safety roles in oil and gas
• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety preferred
• CRSP or CRST certification is an asset
• Proven communication and coaching skills
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with good record
