As a Shift Lead, you will support the Highway Operations Leadership Team in maintaining road surfaces and safety systems, leveraging your five years of relevant experience. Daily tasks will include staff training and engagement, implementing seasonal road maintenance plans, and ensuring contractor compliance with MTO standards. You will also manage shifts and support administrative functions to enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage and train staff in maintenance procedures
• Coordinate winter and summer road maintenance activities




• Monitor contractor work for compliance and safety
• Conduct weekly safety toolbox talks for the team
• Support administration of shift scheduling and evaluations

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 5 years experience in construction or road maintenance
