Lead impactful projects for the Parks & Recreation division with the City of Toronto. As a full-time Policy & Project Advisor, manage strategic planning and stakeholder communication for various initiatives.

This role works within the Business and Technology Transformation branch, reporting directly to the Director. You will oversee management of agenda items for Council meetings, develop annual branch programs, and prepare crucial reports and presentations for senior leadership. Collaboration with various city divisions and stakeholders is essential to ensure project success and alignment with community needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate agenda items for Community Council and Committees
• Draft and prepare briefing notes and presentations
• Manage and support strategic planning initiatives




• Analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Public Policy or related field
• Extensive experience in communication and issues management
• Robust project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills
• Knowledge of municipal operations and relevant legislation
