In the Student Development and Counselling department, you will be instrumental in providing various counselling services to SAIT students. This position demands flexibility to address urgent needs while supporting student wellness through crisis intervention and program delivery. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis counselling and academic support
• Assess risks and provide tailored interventions
• Lead crisis debriefings post-incident
• Develop workshops that support student wellness
• Consult with SAIT staff regarding student mental health
Requirements:
• Must possess a Master’s degree in Psychology or Clinical Social Work
• 2-3 years related experience in crisis management
• Active registration with a qualified body in Alberta
• Experience within post-secondary institutions
• Required liability coverage
