This casual full-time role at the Dickson Building requires a Master's Degree in Social Work and two years of clinical experience. You will implement psychosocial assessments, crisis counselling, and discharge planning while working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. The position demands strong communication skills, autonomy in practice, and a deep understanding of various health-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and adjustment therapy
• Provide crisis and resource counselling for clients
• Oversee discharge planning and case management processes
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams for patient care
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students during placements
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Registered or eligible for NSCSW registration
• Two years of clinical Social Work experience required
• Strong counselling and communication skills
• Knowledge of issues such as family violence and disability
