At Swish, our people are at the heart of everything we do.About the Role: The Service Technician plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering timely, high-quality equipment service. This includes diagnostics and troubleshooting, emergency repairs, planned preventative maintenance, pre- and post-delivery inspections, customer training, and general technical support related to equipment performance and care. In addition to powered cleaning equipment, the Service Technician services and supports Kitchen, Laundry, and Food Processing (KLFP) systems and is responsible for the installation and maintenance of chemical dispensing equipment. This includes configuring, calibrating, and ensuring proper operation to meet customer requirements and safety standards.As a frontline representative of the company, the Service Technician builds strong customer relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and technical expertise. Through high-quality workmanship and attention to detail, the Service Technician ensures equipment is properly serviced, maintained, and ready to perform when customers need it most.Key Responsibilities: Maintain, diagnose, and service commercial cleaning equipment such as power washers, floor scrubbers, and small engines in both the workshop and on customer propertyService and support Kitchen, Laundry, and Food Processing systems, ensuring proper operation and chemical performanceInstall, configure,



and maintain chemical dispensing systems in customer facilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and system calibrations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standardsMaintain an inventory of replacement parts and equipmentCare for, maintain, and stock the service vanEfficiently manage and complete scheduled service calls based on established proceduresAssist the Sales and Management teams with equipment demonstrations and rentalsKeep accurate records of billable hours spent on in-house or on-site service callsPromote and support Planned Maintenance Agreements to reduce customer downtimeRespond to after-hours or weekend emergency service calls as requiredWhat You Bring:High School diploma or equivalentAcceptable Driver's Abstract and valid Driver's License (Class 5) Ability to read and understand product manuals, diagrams, and schematicsStrong organizational skills and clerical abilities for the maintenance of parts inventoryStrong computer skills in order to log calls, billable hours, and place orders for partsInterpersonal skills to communicate with customers, staff, and suppliers in a pleasant and professional mannerAcquired technical or mechanical knowledge or aptitude, such as experience working with electronics, appliances, small engines, or automotive repair would be an assetWillingness to learn new skills from our experienced teamJob Details & What We OfferA people-first companyMembership in the Swish family — we treat our employees with integrity and have since 1956The roleLocation: Delta/Surrey, British Columbia Salary: Starting from $55,000 to $70,000 based on skills and experience Variable compensation: Annual performance bonus eligibilityVacation:
