The Associate Vice President of Marketing will support the Vice President of Marketing by executing the SSU marketing strategy. They will take ownership of content creation and social media management, ensuring consistent and engaging communication with the Sauder student community.
Time Commitment
Typically 5-10 hours per week, up to 15 hours per week in October/February
Term of Employment
August 2026 - April 2027
Main Responsibilities
- Design and schedule posts across SSU’s social media platforms
- Assist with marketing content for events, hiring, and launches
- Monitor analytics and trends to improve campaign performance
- Coordinate with the Vice President of Marketing and other team members
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of social media and marketing trends
- Creative thinker with good writing and design instincts
- Experience with Canva, Instagram, or LinkedIn preferred
- Organized, responsive, and a team player
Anticipated Learning Outcomes
The Associate Vice President(s) of Marketing will develop their skills in content creation, digital strategy, and brand development, gaining valuable experience in managing real-world campaigns.
