Position Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, the 705 First Officer transports thousands of passengers each year. As a pilot, your number one priority is to conduct each flight safely, taking into consideration the comfort of each passenger and on-time performance.

High level of respect, understanding and regard for First Nations communities Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Conduct flights with strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual, and the Company Operations Manual

Assist the PIC in the management and operation of the flight,



including participation in the execution of all cockpit procedures

Fuel the airplane

Provide a thorough pre-flight/post flight airplane inspection on behalf of the Captain

Carry out take-offs and landings under the authority of the PIC

Focus on flying skills and knowledge improvement with the intention of one day being ready to assume a Captain position

Load, unload and secure cargo and freight as required

Continue to meet and exceed the Transport Canada Qualification standards for a Pilot

Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent

Commercial Pilot License (CPL) & Individual Aero plane Type Rating - Aero plane (IATRA) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)

500 Hours Total Flight Time

Category 1 Medical

Current Group 1 Instrument Rating

Pilots must be fluent in English, and be able to demonstrate effective verbal and listening comprehension Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations

Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset Working Conditions Physically able to perform all listed job duties

Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role

Work performed both indoors and outdoors; employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions

Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
