Our client is sourcing for a 12 month contract. This role will require 4 days in office and 1 day from home. The company is Downtown Toronto

:

- Owns full-cycle reporting across 3 entities.
- Acts as a finance business partner across a range of finance-related matters, including P&L;, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial support.
- Partners with operational and cross-functional leaders to support financial decision-making and provide insight into business performance.
- Supports budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles by working closely with stakeholders across the business.
- Translates financial data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for non-finance partners.
- Assists with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and business case support as needed.
- Independent contributor with no direct reports.
- Needs to be deadline-oriented and comfortable operating in a regular reporting cadence / quarter-end environment

Qualified / What They’re Looking For:

- CPA or equivalent accounting designation preferred / required
- Progressive experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A; at the Senior Analyst / Manager level
- Strong understanding of P&L; management, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end / quarter-end reporting
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to build relationships across functions
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
