This permanent, full time role involves overseeing compliance with legislation, reviewing regulatory documents, and maintaining databases for waste management initiatives. Candidates will also engage in staff training and assist in developing operational procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Review regulatory compliance documents for landfill operations
- Maintain databases and track compliance analytical results
- Inspect landfill sites for legislative adherence
- Assist in training departmental staff on compliance tasks
- Prepare service requests related to reports and studies Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma in Environmental Technology
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in municipal roles
- OACETT designation or eligibility required
