Product Marketing
Director ELSP/ELSB In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage specific product lines within Smart Power and Smart Buildings divisions respectively, co-lead strategic projects and act as the solutions architect.
In addition, within the scope you will be developing and executing product marketing strategies for Canada aligned with global strategy to meet business objectives. Each day you will lead go-to-market planning and execution, including launch readiness, sales enablement, internal and partner onboarding, and customer-facing support to drive sales and services performance. You will also support the global Product Management in optimizing the low-voltage distribution portfolio (load centers/breakers/meter panels) with a preferred experience in industrial/OEMs and NEMA solutions, including lifecycle management (development, pricing, profitability, and maintenance) to maximize ROI.
This role reports directly to the Product Marketing Director. Acts as the solutions architect and manages an assigned portfolio of product lines with accountability for business outcomes, prioritization, and resource coordination, rather than focusing on a single product category or marketing execution
Owns complex cross-functional projects that span multiple product lines, business units,
and stakeholders—not just product launches or portfolio management activities.
Lead product launch readiness end-to-end, including go-to-market plan, value proposition, competitive positioning, voice-of-customer input, pricing, stocking readiness, and training; Translate standards, market inputs, and customer needs into product roadmaps, specifications, and development/transfer business cases.

Analysis : Analyze market size, trends, customer requirements, and competitors to identify gaps and position ABB’s offering effectively.
Partner with Product Management to optimize the legacy industrial solutions low-voltage distribution portfolio (load centers/breakers), ROI, and lifecycle performance (launch, maintenance, pricing, profitability).
Drive offering development and enhancements from project specification through launch, proposing differentiated solutions that meet customer needs.
Training : Create and deliver product communications and training materials (technical + sales) for internal teams and external customers to improve sales efficiency.
Technical expertise : Provide support on quality and resolution by monitoring warranty cases and key quality cost drivers and ensuring timely corrective actions.
Achieves product marketing targets and budgets by overseeing progress regularly and defining and implementing improvement plans as needed.
Relationship Building: Builds and maintains strong relationships with current and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Uphold ABB’s values and ensure compliance with the code of conduct, applicable regulations/standards, HSE requirements, and sustainability/circular-economy commitments while working cross-functionally (engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, logistics).
OEM/industrial components and/or NEMA low voltage distribution (i.Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical) Demonstrated knowledge in development and implementation of Marketing and Sales strategy for low voltage solutions. Sound technical knowledge of electrical distribution equipment. You are at ease communicating in French and English.
French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis. You’ll grow through meaningful work, continuous learning, and support that’s tailored to your goals.
