Senior Accountant (CPA Designated) – Public Accounting

Location: Richmond Hill, ON

Work Model: Hybrid – 2–3 days in office

Our client, an established mid-sized public accounting firm in Richmond Hill, is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to their growing team.

This is a strong opportunity for public accounting professionals looking for a well-rounded role with exposure across assurance, compilations, and tax in a collaborative firm environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and complete review engagements for private company clients
- Prepare compilation engagements and related financial statements
- Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns (T2s and T1s)
- Assist with nonprofit and smaller audit engagements during audit season
- Work directly with managers and partners across a variety of client files
- Communicate with clients and assist with resolving accounting and tax matters

Qualifications:

- Several years of experience within a Canadian public accounting firm
- Robust experience with review engagements and compilations
- Experience preparing T1 and T2 tax returns




- Some audit/assurance experience preferred
- CPA designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of ASPE
- Strong communication and client-service skills
