Senior Electrical

Engineer & Team Lead – the role supports the development of the electrical and communication interface of Kepler’s satellite to advanced internal and customer‑designed payloads. The engineer will develop hardware solutions, work closely with RF, mechanical, software, and FPGA teams, and deliver complete product solutions. Accountable for a small number of direct reports, conducting regular 1:1s, and managing time‑off and time‑tracking approvals.

Ensure team members perform at a high level and complete performance reviews in alignment with company processes.

Engineering Responsibilities

Conduct and document engineering analyses including derating, reliability, radiation, EMI/EMC,



FMECA, and power budgets. Execute development of future satellite generations, helping push the boundaries of space communications. Maintain technical documentation capturing design decisions, specifications, block diagrams, interface requirements, and system architecture reports.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Lead development of multi‑board systems and handle electrical interface planning and definition.

Experience with schematic and layout of processors, FPGAs, SoCs, DAC/ADCs, or other high‑speed digital components. Ability to work in a rapid‑learning/agile environment where requirements evolve. Own a project from architecture through design validation.

Bonus Points

Low‑level electrical design, high‑speed layout expertise.
