LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work approximately 2 days per week on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa

Key Tasks

- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ServiceNow development teams
- Review solution designs, technical approaches, and development practices
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to technical and development standards
- Support platform architecture alignment and technical governance
- Contribute to release planning and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and upgrade-safe
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain enterprise-scale ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities
- Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Flow Designer automations, custom applications, and integrations
- Primarily support and enhance ServiceNow IRM, while contributing to BCM, HRSD, LSD, and custom business applications
- Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites
- Promote automated testing and quality practices across development teams
- Integrate ATF into release and deployment processes
- Develop and support integrations using REST APIs and IntegrationHub
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support
- Collaborate with security, architecture, integration, and platform teams to resolve complex technical issues

Key Qualifications

- 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
- 2+ years of experience implementing or supporting ServiceNow IRM
- Robust hands-on experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and UI Builder

Qualifications

- Experience with one or more of: Business Continuity Management (BCM), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Legal Service Delivery (LSD), or custom ServiceNow applications
- Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining Automated Test Framework (ATF)




- Experience conducting code reviews and providing technical leadership in an enterprise-scale ServiceNow environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain Reliability Status prior to contract start date
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) — asset
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) — asset
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IRM — asset
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HRSD — asset
- ServiceNow micro-certifications in ATF, Platform Development, Flow Designer, or IntegrationHub — asset
- French/English bilingualism — asset
