What You'll Do: As an HVAC Fabricator, you'll dive deep into Air Wise's policies and procedures, leveraging your knowledge to support production and expand our market presence. Your role will be agile, allowing you to work both independently and collaboratively with a talented team.

Responsibilities and Duties include:

- Read and understand blueprints and assembly drawings
- Develop a basic knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
- Use a variety of measuring instruments including tape measures,



squares, and levels
- Use a variety of fabrication equipment (shear, brake press, notch machine, etc.)
- Assemble air handler equipment base frames, wall panels, cabinet, and internal components
- Operate material handling equipment including forklift, crane, and pump cart
- Maintain shop and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner
- Promote teamwork and good company morale; mentor and knowledge share with teammates; conduct yourself with the highest ethical standards

Qualifications & Education:

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Experience in a lead hand or supervisory capacity an asset
- Experience working on HVAC equipment an asset
- Basic knowledge of assembly/manufacturing equipment and processes
- Knowledge of fabrication equipment (shear, brake press, cut to length line, notch machine, etc.)
- Experience with sheet metal and metal fabrication processes
- Physically capable; able to lift heavy parts (50lbs), stand for extended periods of time, and twist, bend and reach unrestricted
- Ability to work in a team or group environment and independently with minimal instruction




- Basic math, reading, and computer skills
- Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines
