Lead community engagement in sports as a Sport Development Supervisor at the Markham Pan Am Centre. Manage initiatives, staff, and events to promote active participation and outreach.

In this full-time role, you will report to the Sport Development Coordinator and oversee various sport development initiatives within the Markham community. Your responsibilities will include administration, mentorship, and performance management for a team focused on athlete and community development.

Ensure effective partnerships with local sport groups and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee City-wide sport development initiatives administration
- Manage recruitment, training, and scheduling of part-time staff




- Collaborate with community sport groups for funding needs
- Maintain excellent service standards for all stakeholders
- Prepare promotional materials for initiatives and events

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in recreation or sport management
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience in recreation
- Current First Aid certifications required
- Proficiency in MS Office and CLASS is an asset
- Solid communication and leadership skills
