Looking any one of the following - Handyman / Floor Installer / Tiler / Carpenter – $30/hour (Toronto) Reliable multi-skilled tradesperson needed for residential renovation work in the Toronto area (Danforth / east end and surrounding). Pay: $30 per hour Must be competent and experienced in the following (based on typical full-scope interior reno work): Drywall / Plaster / Patching & Skim Coating Sanding, patching damaged areas, repairing demolition damage Skim coating walls & ceilings for a clean, smooth finish Stairwell walls, bulkheads, kitchen/living openings, laundry boxing, etc. General Framing & Carpentry Non-structural framing, wall modifications, openings (e.g. kitchen/living peninsula) Blocking, bulkheads/enclosures, exhaust duct support, minor subfloor repairs General backing and support work Flooring, Subfloor Prep & Stairs Inspecting and securing existing plank/subfloor Installing ½" plywood underlayment, minor leveling & patching Installing client-supplied vinyl plank flooring (rooms, closets, transitions) Preparing and finishing existing stairs with matching vinyl + nosings Bathroom Waterproofing & Tile Cement/backer board, waterproofing systems in wet areas Preparing walls & floors, installing wall & floor tile (client-supplied) Grouting, finishing, vanity cabinet install (non-plumbing)



Kitchen Cabinet & Millwork Installation Layout and install of base, upper, and peninsula cabinets Fillers, toe kicks, hardware, leveling, door/drawer adjustment Finish carpentry: interior/closet doors, hardware, baseboards, casings, window trim, miscellaneous millwork Fitting, caulking, filling, final adjustments Painting & Final Touches Priming repaired/skimmed surfaces Painting walls, ceilings, doors, trim, stair components, bulkheads Construction cleanup, touch-ups, minor adjustments, and deficiency items Requirements Own basic hand tools and transportation preferred Clean, qualified, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a small crew Experience with client-supplied materials and coordinating around other trades (plumbing/electrical excluded) Valid driver’s licence and references preferred Work is for residential interior renovations only. General demolition and debris removal already handled by others. No structural, plumbing, or electrical work included.
