We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Cook who will assist in meal prep, handle food safely, and respect residents' dietary preferences. Your role will also include monitoring food temperatures, participating in menu planning, and ensuring all meals are served attractively and correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare meals in accordance with menu plans
- Review production sheets prior to meal preparation
- Conduct temperature audits for food safety compliance
- Assist with therapeutic and special diet meals
- Help coordinate special theme meals

Requirements:

- Must have a Food Handler's Certificate
- Experience in large quantity cooking preferred
- Knowledge of provincial food regulations
- Ability to lift and stand for extended periods
- Willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
