As the Accountant for Operations Finance in Long Term Care, you will report to the Manager and play a key role in financial reporting. You'll prepare financial statements, perform reconciliations, and analyze data for accuracy. Collaborating with the Finance team, your contributions will ensure timely and precise reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for assigned units
- Analyze financial data for accuracy and completeness
- Provide support to various business units as needed
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly
- Liaise with Accounts Receivable, Payable, and Payroll for information
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Finance or related field
- 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Working towards Chartered Professional Accounting Designation
- Familiarity with Yardi Voyager is an asset
- Strong organization and communication skills required
