The Role

We are looking for an Account Executive with a solid integrated marketing background to join our team here in Calgary. This person will be specifically working on one of McCann’s largest and longest standing global clients.

In this role, you will work in a team assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and projects of varying sizes, ensuring the delivery meets the client’s needs. This client in particular sits in a very competitive industry, requiring us to leverage all areas of creative and digital to help the client maintain leadership in the category.

The Team The McCann Calgary account services team is a collective of brave, nimble and smart individuals capable of rising to any occasion. Our goal is to create work that allows brands to play a meaningful role in consumers’ lives.

What you will do…

- Exhibit effective project management skills, including preparing and updating timelines, activity reports, and status reports for internal team and clients
- Develop a positive and partnering relationship with all clients
- Produce internal and client-facing communication materials (contact and status reports)
- Develop and manage project timelines
- Develop estimates and manage cost against project budgets

Who you will be…

- Agency experience in a client service role is an asset
- Critical thinking – ability to onboard and comprehend information in context and appropriately apply it to move things forward
- Crisp thinker and communicator – verbally, visually and in writing
- Ability to write and communicate effectively
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to build and deliver presentations




- Proficient in MS office
