Position Summary
The Business transformation analyst is responsible for crafting, leading and executing business projects that will improve productivity, redundancies, and inefficiencies; ultimately contributing to the overall Customer Experience.
Level of Responsibility
Leading projects/workstreams, and responsible for outcomes/strategic impact on department or business unit performance. May have direct reports, mentoring others, driving innovation, and improving processes within their domain.
Key Tasks
- Partner with other teams across MSC and its divisions to conduct project requirement analysis and create process documentation.
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation, as well as facilitate and capture business requirements through workshops, data analysis and end user interviews.
- Review systems analytics and existing processes to maximize business effectiveness and propose process improvements.
- Develop strong and durable relationships with the rest of the MSC team with the goal of supporting optimized systems design and integration.
- Respond to questions and concerns of team members and executives with supporting research and recommendations.
- Work under the Manager, Business Transformation to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Work with the Manager, Business Transformation to create a timeline, schedule and oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time.

- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology management or related fields of study.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills in both English and French.
- Strong client-facing and collaborative teamwork skills.
- Solid analytical skills.
- Experience facilitating sessions and conducting client interviews.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps, as well as process optimization methodologies such as Kanban, Lean, and BPMN/Visio mapping.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, and Copilot.
- Knowledge of SQL/Python is an asset
- Experience creating process documentation and reports.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
- Team-oriented professional with a positive attitude.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation is considered an asset.
