Com-Teck Electric Inc is seeking skilled and dedicated apprentice Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial electrical systems, with the ability to interpret blueprints. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, including construction, renovation, in a commercial settings. well ensuring all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, and equipment in commercial environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical projects accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform installations and repairs.
- Work low voltage systems including fire alarm, Data communications.
- Assist with renovation projects by upgrading or replacing outdated electrical infrastructure.
- Install conduit & wiring
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with construction teams during current builds or renovations to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an commercial electrician or journey person electrician with a valid license or certification.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical codes.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, fire alarm, CEC, blue prints.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in quick-paced environments while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
