Advance your technical career with Finning Canada as an Apprentice Mechanic. This full time role offers training in maintaining and repairing Caterpillar equipment at our Fort McKay facility. We are looking for aspiring Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentices who are safety-conscious and detail-oriented.

The role involves a 14x14 continuous shift rotation, where you will address various mechanical challenges while enhancing your qualifications for the Heavy Equipment Technician certification. Your contributions will support team goals and commitment to customer service. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of equipment
- Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET for daily maintenance
- Complete necessary technical documentation in service reports




- Interact with customers and the Finning support team
- Engage in additional tasks as needed to meet objectives Requirements:
- Willingness to complete Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
- High school education completion required
- Highly motivated and eager to learn
- Strong mechanical understanding of heavy equipment
