Role Description The Architect will play a key role in developing architectural concepts and detailed designs for renovation and construction projects in a part-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, building sections, elevations, and details in coordination with structural, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC disciplines.

The role involves translating client requirements into functional plans, supporting permitting documentation, and ensuring designs meet regulatory standards and constructability requirements. The Architect will collaborate with project managers, engineers,



and contractors to refine design solutions, address technical issues, and maintain alignment with project budgets and timelines. This position requires effective remote communication, timely deliverables, and attention to detail throughout the design and review process.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience producing construction-ready drawings and coordinated plans.
- Ability to manage project tasks using Project Management practices, including planning, scheduling, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with Integration of architectural solutions with structural, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure cohesive designs.
- Comfort working alongside Software Development or technical teams when needed to support digital workflows, modeling tools, or design integration platforms.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and relevant building codes and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and experience collaborating with contractors, engineers, and clients.
- Professional degree in Architecture or related field; licensure or progress toward licensure is an asset.
