Title: Assistant Professor

Location: Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada (Onsite)

Work arrangement: (onsite, 4 days per week)

Reports To: Associate Dean, Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (HBBA)

Expected hiring salary: Rank and salary are determined through an internal review and approval process. Minimum $93,000

About the faculty and department The Assistant Professor in Organizational Behaviour, Leadership, and Human Resources plays a central role in advancing the academic mission of the program through undergraduate-level teaching, course development, student mentorship, and academic service.

The position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction that supports student learning, professional development, and program learning outcomes within the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (HBBA).

In addition to teaching and curriculum development, the Assistant Professor contributes to scholarly or skilled activity that aligns with the discipline and supports the ongoing relevance and rigor of the program. The role emphasizes excellence in teaching, meaningful engagement with students, and active participation in service activities that support the program, faculty, and broader academic community.

Position Requirements:

To be successful in the role, an individual must possess, and be committed to developing, maintaining, and demonstrating the following:

Education and Experience:

- A Doctorate/Ph.D. in Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Leadership Studies,



or a related discipline with an organizational behaviour, leadership, or HR focus.
- Teaching experience in the topics of: Organizational Behaviour, Leadership Theory and Practice, Human Resources Management, Talent Acquisition and Management, Organizational Development and Change Management, Employee Relations and Labour Law, Compensation and Performance Management, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace.
- Canadian/Ontario teaching experience within a higher education organization.
- Related industry experience and expertise in organizational behaviour, leadership development, human resources management, talent management, organizational consulting, and applied HR research to enhance student learning through real-life scenarios, applied projects, and case-based instruction.
- Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level is a significant asset.
