Duties

- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control
- Lead, supervise, and develop a diverse team of sales associates through effective training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Oversee merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product displays that maximize sales opportunities
- Coordinate purchasing and pricing strategies to maintain competitive offerings while managing budgets effectively
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Conduct recruiting activities such as interviewing candidates to build a strong team aligned with store goals
- Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and administrative responsibilities to ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote store promotions and increase foot traffic
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions,



sales tracking, and reporting purposes
- Monitor sales performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Qualifications

- Proven supervising experience in retail management or a similar leadership role with demonstrated success in sales management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued for engaging diverse customer bases
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for bookkeeping and pricing tasks
- Experience in recruiting, training & development of staff, and conducting interviews
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, marketing strategies, and store budgeting processes
- Ability to manage time effectively while prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Administrative experience including payroll processing, recordkeeping, and bookkeeping is preferred
- Leadership qualities such as motivation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to supervise teams confidently
