Responsibilities
- Provide professional barbering and hairstyling services, including haircuts, trims, shaves, and styling tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to clients’ needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales revenue.
- Manage front desk duties such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and maintaining client records efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with clients about service options, pricing,
and aftercare instructions to ensure a positive experience.
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barber or stylist with strong skills in hair cutting, styling, and grooming techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and practices relevant to salon environments.
- Robust communication skills to effectively explain services, products, and styling options.
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally while maintaining focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience managing front desk operations or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- A valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by local regulations.
