Join our dynamic team as a Server at Bings - Spruce Grove location, where your enthusiasm and hospitality skills will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will need your proserve and experience with making drinks, VLTS and cash experience is important for the position. As a vital part of our restaurant, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Handling VLT transactions accurately and handling the float
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery for timely service




- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces in accordance with sanitation standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality

Skills

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required- minimum 1 year solid experience
- Proficiency with POS systems for Touch Bistro
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service times
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that enhances guest experiences
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and upselling techniques
- Ability to work well in a team environment within the food industry’s fast-paced setting
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus but not mandatory
