- Act as a senior business analyst in the development and evolution of various information systems;
- To act as a link between users, IT partners and service providers, while ensuring that deliverables are tracked;
- Analyze business processes and recommend best practices to be implemented;
- Participate in the definition of service agreements with suppliers when required;
- Assist users in defining their business needs and support the drafting of functional specifications;
- Collaborate in the analysis of the costs and benefits of solutions and make recommendations in line with established technological orientations;
- Participate in the various phases of functional, integrated and acceptance tests in order to validate the compliance of developments with functional specifications;
- Develop functional and integrated test plans and support users during acceptance testing;
- Follow up on detected anomalies, ensure the traceability of changes and ensure the release of system developments and configurations;
- Collaborate with development teams to identify the most appropriate technical solutions to the issues encountered;
- Monitor trends and best practices in your field of expertise;
- Support the transfer of knowledge related to business processes and systems operation and participate in user training as needed;
- Provide post-implementation support and analyze application support requests in order to solve the problems encountered;
- Evaluate the impacts of new versions of systems and recommend the necessary work plans for upgrading them.
Profile and Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, business administration or any other discipline deemed equivalent;
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as an IT business analyst in the implementation, evolution or maintenance of software or software solutions;
- Experience in business process modeling, requirements gathering and analysis, and writing functional specifications;
- Demonstrate an ability to collaborate with external vendors and third parties;
- Master the simultaneous management of several files in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills;
- Develop collaborative and teamwork skills;
- Demonstrate negotiation and customer service skills;
- Functional knowledge of the academic or academic setting (an asset);
This position requires fluency in French and English for daily tasks, understanding documentation, and professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada. French and English language skills are essential, both oral and written.
