What can you expect?

The Business Analyst supports company functions as they relate to key processes, program integrations (including customization, programming, and troubleshooting), and data and financial modelling and analysis, to provide comprehensive and timely business information. This role works closely with the Executive and Management teams, liaises frequently with third party vendors and partners, and reports to the Controller and the Chief Financial Officer.

This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy: Data Collection, Modelling, Analysis:

- Identifying, documenting, and analyzing business outcomes and be able to respond to all data inquiries and questions as they pertain to business outcomes by navigating through multiple systems.
- Collecting and organizing data using a variety of methods and sources, such as data mining and hardcopy or electronic documentation study, to improve or expand existing and new databases and systems.
- Filtering and “cleaning” data, review computer reports and performance indicators to locate code problems.
- Data mining, coding, documenting, testing, and debugging reporting and analysis using standard tools including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Power BI), SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Visual Basic, Python/R, BigQuery, Qlikview.
- Interpreting and analyzing data, trends and patterns, and business results, to provide ongoing statistical reports.
- Developing data models for review and approval to meet the company’s business and reporting requirements.
- Designing reports and including tools to help users easily digest data,



such as statistics, graphs, images, and lists.
- Working with business applications and operations counterparts to ensure data integrity. Identify data integration and security issues for adherence to organization’s quality standards.

Reporting, Financial and Budgetary Information:
- Performing financial forecasting, strategizing on revenue yield management, including agile pricing.
- Formulating department budgets for Executive and Management review.
- Assisting with cost management, including budget planning, tracking spend, and reporting.
- Drafting and preparing standard or ad hoc reports.

Process and Program Integration and Support:
- Meeting with departments to determine their information, reporting and research needs.
- Supporting and developing business systems including SAP, Ceridian Dayforce, Paradocs mtn-OS.
- Working with the business to understand and document key processes which add, edit, or delete data.
- Documenting procedures for reference and making recommendations for process improvements.
- Clearly communicating analysis results in comprehensive reports to decision makers and other stakeholders.

This is a flexible, dynamic role, and other duties may be requested and assigned from time to time.

And you have:

- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Commerce/Business Administration, or equivalent, practical experience.
- 2+ years of using Structure Query Language (SQL).
- 3+ years of Data Analysis experience, with increasing degrees of responsibility.
- Knowledge of data modeling or Architecture tools.




- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Excel, Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving skills, possessing a mature, professional attitude.
- Prepared to work flexible schedules e.g., weekends, holidays, and extended hours may be required at times.
- Calm under pressure and patient, with good time management skills.
- Able to communicate in English, written and verbally, and effectively translate complex, technical language.
- Maintain professional conduct when knowingly acting as a company representative, on or off duty.
- This role handles sensitive information and must adhere to high standards of discretion and confidentiality.
- Effectively provide support and assistance to coworkers and team members.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings and training.
- Must be neat, alert, punctual and dependable.
