Twenty one years ago, Sandra’s Home Health Care didn’t begin with a business plan, it began with a woman named Lois.

Sandra D’Alessandro was helping Lois in her home, preparing meals and providing everyday support. In very little time, their relationship became something much more. Lois became family.

One day Lois said something to Sandra that would ultimately shape the next 21 years of her life: “Sandra, this is your calling.”

She was right.

What began with Sandra caring for one woman in her home grew into Sandra’s Home Health Care. Today, Sandra serves as the company’s Founder and CEO, leading a dedicated team of care practitioners throughout Niagara. Despite our growth, the philosophy that began with Lois has never changed.

We are not a franchise or a call centre dispatching strangers to clients. We are a local healthcare team built on trust and consistency that shows up, remembers birthdays, and treats clients with dignity, compassion and kindness like our very own family member.

Compassionate and reliable
