Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Labourer to join our construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial builds, utilizing a wide range of carpentry and labouring skills. As a key member of our crew, you will play an essential part in bringing construction visions to life through hands-on craftsmanship, heavy lifting, and teamwork.

This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in carpentry, masonry, roofing, and general construction while contributing to high-quality projects.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise execution of tasks
- Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work to support foundational structures
- Install cabinets, siding, flooring, tiles, and other finishing elements with attention to detail
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform roofing tasks such as shingling or metal roofing installation while adhering to safety standards
- Conduct general site cleanup, heavy lifting, caulking, and assembly tasks to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Support plumbing and electrical installations as needed for various projects





Requirements

- Proven construction experience with knowledge of carpentry, woodworking, masonry, or related fields
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise project execution
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and safety protocols on construction sites
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently when required
- Nice-to-have skills include experience with concrete forming, roofing, siding installation, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing or electrical work, restoration projects, cabinetry installation or handyman experience
- Valid driver’s license preferred; willingness to learn new skills such as construction estimating or manufacturing processes is a plus
