- Perform preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks
- Diagnose issues in engines and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment components
- Sometimes respond to service calls in the field
- Collaborate with Journeyman mechanics for skill development Requirements:
- Eligible as Registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician or higher
- Clean class 5 Driver’s license with a solid record
- Class 1 or 3 license is advantageous
- Background in hydraulics and electrical systems preferred
