Experience: Previous cellphone repair or retail experience preferred
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cell Phone Repair Technician & Sales Associate to join our team at a busy cellphone repair and retail store in the Newmarket area.
Responsibilities
- Repair iPhones, Samsung and other smartphones
- Screen and battery replacements
- Charging-port and basic hardware repairs
- Diagnose common hardware and software problems
- Perform software troubleshooting and phone setup
- Sell cellphones, cases, chargers and other accessories
- Assist customers and provide professional customer service
- Evaluate used phones for buying/trading
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Handle basic POS/cash register duties
Requirements
- Previous cellphone repair experience preferred
- Good knowledge of iPhone and Android devices
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Comfortable working independently
- Sales experience is an asset
- Microsoldering/board-level repair experience is a strong asset
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Reliable transportation is preferred. Candidates with their own vehicle are strongly preferred.
Compensation
$18–$20/hour, depending on experience and technical ability.
Additional performance-based incentives may be available for the right candidate.
