Job Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Certified Dental Assistant, where your expertise will help create a positive and efficient patient experience! In this energetic role, you'll assist the dentist during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, and ensure smooth daily operations. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials for various dental procedures
- Assist the dentist during examinations, restorations, orthodontics, pediatrics, and other treatments with precision and care
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools when needed
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist, greeting patients and scheduling appointments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term health
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental equipment meets safety standards
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current credentials to practice in your region
- Proven experience with dental assisting procedures, including working with orthodontics and pediatric patients
- Familiarity with dental practice management Cleardent software is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate communication and documentation
- Speaking a second language such as Mandarin , Vietnamese , Arabic or Spanish is an asset
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with dentists, hygienists, reception staff, and patients to foster a positive atmosphere
