About Stouffville Dental Studio

Stouffville Dental Studio is a brand-new family and cosmetic dental practice opening this summer inside the Stouffville Medical Arts building at 211 Sam Miller Way — a modern healthcare hub shared with family physicians, an emergency clinic, a pharmacy, and medical specialists.

We're not taking over an old office. Every part of this studio was purpose-built from an empty shell: five new operatories with floor-to-ceiling exterior windows and natural light in every room, a glass-walled sterilization centre visible from reception, medical-grade digital imaging in every operatory, and a fully paperless workflow from day one.

The role You'll be our founding dental assistant — chairside for restorative, hygiene support, and minor oral surgery days, and a key voice in how we set up our sterilization workflow, tray systems, and operatory standards before the doors open. In a five-operatory studio with a small team, you'll never be a number.

What you'll do





- Provide four-handed chairside assistance for restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures- Take and process digital radiographs (intra-oral and panoramic)- Run our sterilization and infection-control cycle — instrument reprocessing, biological monitoring, tracking - Prepare and turn over operatories; manage clinical supply inventory- Take digital impressions/scans and support lab case management- Help patients feel at ease — especially nervous patients; we offer nitrous oxide and take comfort seriously- Contribute to writing our IPAC and clinical protocols as a founding team member

What we're looking for

- Level II Certified Dental Assistant (NDAEB certified; intra-oral duties)
- HARP-compliant dental radiography qualification
- Current CPR/BLS
- Strong infection-control knowledge (RCDSO / Public Health Ontario IPAC standards)
- Warm, unflappable chairside manner- Nice to have: experience with Open Dental or similar PMS, digital scanning, surgical assisting experience, ODAA membership
