Advance your career as a Clinician in Child & Adolescent Mental Health within Fraser Health. This role emphasizes team-oriented practice and counseling for young clients in need. Your primary duties will be to assess and treat children and adolescents, ensuring culturally safe and trauma-informed interventions.
Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, you will coordinate referrals and provide consultative services to families and staff. Engaging with community resources, you will enhance the quality of mental health support available. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments to identify client needs
- Create and oversee treatment plans in collaboration with families
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions
- Engage in community outreach and resource networking
- Maintain clinical records and evaluate program effectiveness Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or similar
- Two years’ clinical experience with children and adolescents
- Registration eligibility with relevant professional body
