Join our vibrant educational team as a Children's Drama Enrichment Instructor, where your passion for performing arts and working with children will inspire young minds to explore their creativity through drama and theatrical activities. In this paid role, you will lead engaging drama classes designed to foster confidence, teamwork, and self-expression among children.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, brings positive energy into a room, and is confident leading groups with different personalities, abilities and dynamics.

SPADE provides the curriculum, lesson plans and program structure - we are looking for the right person to bring it to life!

Requirements

- Strong communication and group-management skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to travel to assigned program locations
- Willingness to complete any required background screening/documentation for working with children
- Ability to follow the SPADE curriculum while adapting delivery to the needs of each group

Experience

- Prior experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings, especially in drama or performing arts.
- Strong background in tutoring or teaching young learners,



with the ability to adapt activities to diverse developmental levels.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement.
- Experience in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead energetic sessions while maintaining structure and focus.

Schedule and Location This is a part time position, primarily during after-school hours on weekdays.

The successful candidate should ideally be available to teach approximately 2–4 sessions per week at participating schools/program locations in Peel and/or Toronto.

Access to reliable transportation is a must.
