Position Purpose: To support machine control set up and project survey requirements

Primary Goal: Maximize efficiency of machine control systems and utilize design information for construction purposes

Supervised by: Superintendent and GPS lead

Reports to: Superintendent and GPS lead

Key Duties:

- Reading and interpreting design drawings for survey layout purposes;
- Organization and management of project data;
- Conversion of autocad files to machine control files;
- Providing machine control set up and continuous quality control monitoring;
- Construction layout, staking, take off’s,



as built survey utilizing TOPCON and Trimble equipment;
- Participation in project planning;
- Support all other components of the project as needed;
- Maintenance of equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications:

- Interest in learning and working on construction sites;
- One year construction survey experience;
- Responsible, committed and willing to work flexible work hours and locations
- Experience using machine automation preferred but training is provided.

Additional Duties – May include operating equipment, labouring, and miscellaneous duties. Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
