About the role:
Reporting directly to the business owner, and part of the Leadership team, your strengths will be speaking finance to non finance plant, operations, and warehouse staff. You will love multi-tasking, wearing many hats and a variety in your day-to-day work. You will manage relationships and have frequent interactions with other company leaders, staff, contractors, vendors, and customers and the outside CPA Firm.
Responsibilities include:
- Full cycle project accounting including cash applications, accounts payable and PO maintenance
- Management of Project expenses
- Inventory calculations
- Month end accounting and variance analysis reports including P&L; statement per project
- Cash flow management including bank reconciliations.
- HST returns
Qualifications:
- CPA or equivalent
- 10 yrs of progressive full cycle accounting experience, ideally working autonomously or in a small team.
- 3 yrs in a management or supervisory role
- Construction or related manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Proficiency required in Quickbook Online and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You have robust interpersonal skills, are mature, professional, reliable and looking for long term stability.
