Job Overview

Looking for the right fit for our kitchen team. The right candidate will be able to work at a fast pace, be willing to learn and must have a good sense of humour with a bit of personality. Prior experience is not a requirement, we are more than happy to fully train the right candidate.

You must have the flexibility to work nights and evenings. The restaurant is open from 11am-8pm from Tuesday to Friday, and 10am-8pm on weekends. The position starts at minimum wage but cash tips are paid out daily (kitchen staff receives an equal split with servers).

Responsibilities

- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and kitchen procedures accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly




- Help with food handling and storage to ensure freshness and compliance with food safety standards
- Support serving staff by preparing plates, garnishing dishes, and assisting with meal delivery
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and food handling throughout all tasks

Qualifications

- Previous food service or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with guests
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to contribute to team success

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
