Engage across all departments, providing leadership, support, and direction on safety matters. This role encompasses overseeing safety programs, managing audits, and conducting risk assessments to ensure workplace compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop the County’s Health and Safety management systems
- Lead investigations into safety incidents and accidents




- Coach and advise on health and safety inquiries
- Foster teamwork and continuous improvement among staff
- Maintain and update emergency response plans Requirements:
- Occupational Health and Safety degree or diploma
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in safety
- Knowledge of Alberta OHS regulations
- Canadian Registered Safety Skilled designation preferred
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license Champion workplace safety and enhance employee wellness as the Health & Safety Supervisor at the County of Grande Prairie.
