DigiiMark

Vancouver

You see the story before anyone else does.

A shot list starts writing itself in your head the second you walk into a room. You know a hook from the first three seconds of a scroll. You've got Reels ideas you haven't even pitched yet because you're waiting for the right brand to do them with. Trends don't feel like homework to you — you're already three formats ahead of them.

If that's you, we want to build with you.

About DigiiMark

DigiiMark is an AI-first digital marketing and automation agency based in Vancouver. We build growth systems for clients across insurance, fintech, SaaS, healthcare, real estate, and eCommerce. We're a small team that moves fast and ships real work.

The Role

We're looking for a recent graduate ready to be the creative engine of our team — someone who owns the ideas, shoots them, edits them, and gets them out into the world.

This is a paid internship. You'll have genuine creative ownership over content from day one, working across DigiiMark's own channels and our clients'. Do the work well over the trial period, and this becomes a full time role.

If you're early in your career and looking for a place where your ideas actually ship instead of sitting in a deck, this is that place.

What You'll Own

Creative direction

- Take a creative brief and turn it into a visual, engaging storyline: you're the person who sees the story a brief is only pointing at
- Come up with original content concepts for DigiiMark and client campaigns
- Help drive the creative direction of our social channels: what we make, how it looks, why it works
- Spot trends and formats before they're obvious, and move on them fast
- Bring a point of view to reviews, we want to be pushed

Production

- Shoot video on location for client and internal projects — founder-led content, interviews, product, events, brand shoots
- Handle your own lighting, audio, and framing on set
- Edit short-form vertical content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) as your primary output
- Cut longer-form work when projects call for it: case studies, testimonials, ads
- Captions, motion graphics, sound design, colour: to a publish-ready standard

Ownership

- Help manage the content calendar with our team and keep output consistent
- Organize footage and files so the whole team can find things
- Adapt tone and style per client
- Watch what performs and feed it back into the next round of ideas

What We're Looking For

- A recent graduate (film, communications, marketing, digital media, or a related field — or an equivalent portfolio if your background is different)
- Genuine creative instinct — you have opinions about content and can back them up
- A strong ear for a creative brief: you can take direction and translate it into a visual story that still feels like you
- Fluent in what's working right now on Reels, TikTok, and Shorts, not what worked six months ago
- Comfortable in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects is a bonus
- Some experience with a camera: exposure, framing,

basic audio and lighting
- A portfolio we can watch — coursework, personal projects, or client work all count. Short-form and Reels especially. Show us what you made and tell us why it worked.
- Based in or near Vancouver, with your own vehicle and a valid BC driver's licence
- Legally authorized to work full-time in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or open work permit) — please note this role isn't a fit for study permit holders, as study permits cap work at 20 hrs/week and this position is on a path to full-time

Nice to Have

- Your own camera and audio kit — a real plus if you have one, but not required. We'll provide what's needed from our in-house gear if you don't.
- A personal or brand channel you've grown yourself
- Comfort with AI-assisted creative tools — it's how we work
- Photography alongside video
- Copywriting instincts for hooks and captions

Employment Type

Paid internship to start (3-month trial period), converting to full-time upon successful completion.

Compensation

$19.23–$26.44/hour during the internship period, converting to a salaried $40,000–$55,000/year role based on experience once full-time.

Schedule & Location

On-site 2–3 days/week, with shoot locations within Vancouver. Remaining days are for editing and planning. You'll need your own vehicle to reach shoot locations.

How to Apply

Include a link to your portfolio — we're especially interested in short-form and Reels work. Tell us about one piece of content you made that you're proud of, and two lines on the thinking behind it. That's what we'll read first.
