- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling expertise.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food industry tasks such as food handling, portion control, and basic math calculations for orders and payments.
- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to increase sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours and handle customer inquiries or concerns effectively.
Skills
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and cash register operations.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
